Natalya Karamyan was born in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. At the age of 6 she was accepted to the State Music School of the city, where she studied piano and music related subjects for 9 years.
After graduating from primary and music schools, she continued her musical training at Turkmen State Music College, where she took lessons with Professor Victor Hiruntsev. While being a student of the college she was appointed to an accompanist position at Turkmen State College Orchestra and has been a full time accompanist and a teacher for 4 years. After 4 years at Turkmen State Music College, she graduates with a Bachelor Degree in Piano.
Ms. Karamyan continued her music training at Turkmen State Conservatory with Professor Alexander Starikov and Professor Tatiana Vetrinskaya. She received Masters Degree in Piano and Chamber Music after 5 years at Turkmen National Conservatory.
The same year she was offered position in piano faculty of Turkmen State Music College, where she worked until she moved to the United States in 2003. Starting from 2005 she has been master teacher and assistant-director at Polonsky Piano School and Avlony Academy of Music for 8 years. At the same time she has been maintaining her own private studio at home. From 2007 to the present time she has been serving as a Student recital Chair at MTAC Santa Clara Brunch.
